The MPAQ Majors Contractors Group ("the Majors”) is a group of plumbing industry leaders consisting of professional MPAQ members and companies within Queensland. 

Members of the Major Contractors Group are recognised as trusted, long established and reputable industry leaders. Belonging to the peak industry body, members adhere to an industry code of practice that sets high professional and ethical standards. It demonstrates the major’s integrity, commitment to professionalism and ongoing professional development, and shows their promise to always put the client first.

• Purpose of the Major Contractors Group

  Members of the MPAQ Major Contractors consist of the industry’s elite professional plumbing and gas companies. Having grown and developed over many years to become major industry players in their own right, they need a forum that not only represents their distinct and individual views but also enables the Majors to be a voice for fellow industry colleagues. 

  The purpose of the MPAQ Major Contractors group is: 

  • To network with colleagues at a level that is above that of small business operations;
  • To be a collective voice representing large plumbing businesses;
  • To be a unified force in lobbying with governments at all levels;
  • To be a unified force in the plumbing industrial relations landscape; and 
  • To provide legitimacy and “weight” for industry initiatives, research and funding opportunities.
