Plumbing and Gas Industry Calling for Nominations
Queensland’s plumbing and gas industry is preparing to celebrate the essential work performed by individuals and businesses over the last year.
Despite the fears and uncertainty that have existed across the world due to COVID-19, the plumbing and gas industry has been at the forefront of keeping Queenslanders safe by maintaining our high standards of hygiene and sanitation, as well as being at the heart of our efforts to rebuild the economy through construction and home improvement projects.
Hosted by Master Plumbers’ Association of Queensland (MPAQ), the Plumbing and Gas Industry Awards will be held on Friday 23 July 2021. Queensland’s plumbers and gasfitters deserve to be recognised for the work they have done over the last year, and with nominations closing in less than a month, it’s not too late for the wider community to nominate the plumbing businesses, individuals, and projects in Queensland that have performed beyond all limits.
Penny Cornah, MPAQ Executive Director, said, “After the challenges that we have all faced in the last 12 months, these awards are a great opportunity to celebrate the hard work and dedication of our industry.”
“For years we have been acknowledging the life-saving work that the plumbing and gas industry performs and everyone who contributes to it, and now is the time for Queenslanders to nominate plumbers, gasfitters, and businesses for the essential job they do.”
This year the Plumbing and Gas Industry Awards will highlight outstanding apprentices, tradespeople, women, and companies across more than 15 categories.
