Plumbers Trench Guide

Toowoomba

Plumbers Trench Guide is an easy to use, new product to the market that is perfect to set the fall required in a trench to shape an even rise or fall across any job site.

The Plumbers Trench Guide was developed and designed by director Max Ingleton. With over 55 years in the building industry, Max was determined to find a solution for a sewer line that he had to dig for plumbers, but was restricted by the confined space to operate string lines, etc. There was no laser available so they had to improvise a solution for the project at hand.

This device was the start of the process for developing a concept to assist with situations where there is no laser to excavate a trench and no modern equipment available. After quick thinking and the ability to overcome the obstacle, the first prototype was created and has been a much-required assistance tool on every job site since.

Max says that living out in a regional area means that he had to do what he could to overcome restrictive situations.  “The Plumbers Trench Guide wasn’t intended to take over the use of a laser but rather to complement it if the situation arose like I encountered.”

Max has had to do multiple trenches, drains, and landscaping with a range of falls in all different directions, and he said “it was an amazing piece of equipment that made the process so simple to obtain the correct fall without having to continually bend over to check”.

Made using quality Australian fixtures and materials, the device is simple, quick, and easy to set up and pack down with a robust design to outlive the harshest of conditions.
