Join the Women's Plumbing Alliance for our second Leadership Retreat, returning this year due to the tremendous success of our inaugural event. This year promises to be even bigger and better, held at the beautiful Kingfisher Bay Resort.

At this retreat, you'll have the opportunity to network, learn, develop leadership skills, discover your self-worth and inner courage, and forge lifelong connections. Our lineup of speakers include relevant business specialists, and the event features ice breaker activities, cruise, and a keynote session, all designed to enhance your experience and provide valuable insights for personal and professional growth.

Day One - Monday 4 Nov
7:30 AM	11:45 AM	Travel to Fraser Coast. Bus from Brisbane and Sunshine Coast
12:00 PM	1:00 PM	Guests to arrive at Kingfisher Bay Mainland Reception
1:00 PM	2:00 PM	Ferry from Riverheads
2:00 PM	2:30 PM	Check in at Kingfisher Bay Resort
6:00 PM	8:00 PM	Welcome Dinner and Ice Breaker
Day Two - Tuesday 5 Nov
8:00 AM	8:55 AM	Buffet breakfast followed by tailored business sessions.
8:55AM	12:15 PM	Boat Cruise of the west coast of K’gari enjoying commentary about the area, nature, and wildlife, and morning tea.
1:00 PM	2:15 PM	Lunch and Melbourne Cup
2:15 PM	4:00 PM	Tailored business sessions and afternoon Tea
6:00 PM	9:00 PM	Two-course dinner and drinks with a special surprise in store
Day Three - Wednesday 6 Nov
9:10 AM		Check Out
9:30 AM	12:15 PM	Keynote Speaker presentation and morning tea. Leadership in Conflict: Managing Difficult People and Challenging Situations This session equips leaders with the skills to effectively manage difficult behaviours and complex situations, focusing on communication strategies and conflict resolution techniques. Leaders will learn de-escalation techniques, how to apply models like Thomas-Killman, and the HELP formula to manage conflict with confidence. The session also emphasises the importance of setting boundaries, handling complaints, and developing personal action plans for leadership growth in conflict management.
12:15 PM	1:40 PM	Farewell activity and lunch.
1:40 PM	3:30 PM	Depart Kingfisher Bay Resort and ferry to Kingfisher Bay Mainland Reception (River Heads)
4:00 PM		Travel home. Bus from River Heads to Sunshine Coast and Brisbane.

Ticket Inclusions

Individual ticket includes full catering, accommodation for two nights, tailored business sessions, insightful keynote presentation, boat cruise of the west coast of K’gari including morning tea and bus transfer. Access to resort facilities (pools, beach, bars, discovery centre etc).
NOTE (Share Room price): A share room ticket is only valid when booking two tickets together. If you make a share room booking and only book one ticket, you will be placed in a twin room with another attendee where applicable. If there are no other individual share room attendees, you may be asked to pay the ticket difference to have a single room. If you are booking two share room tickets separately, please email events@mpaq.com.au to advise.
