Plumber

NBS Plumbing is a locally owned plumbing business based in Cairns offering services in plumbing, drainage and roofing to domestic, industrial and commercial properties. We service the Cairns region from Gordonvale to Palm Cove and Kuranda. We are currently seeking an experienced, qualified and licenced plumber to join our team.

Key tasks would include, but not limited to:

• General domestic and commercial installations, repairs and maintenance
• Domestic and commercial construction and renovations
• Roofing and gutter systems.

The successful applicant must have:

• Minimum Cert 3 trade qualification
• Current QBCC licence Current
• valid Australian Drivers Licence Current
• White Card
• Basic tools required for a plumber
• Fitness level suitable for the job
• Ability to apply and follow company procedures
• Availability for after hours plus on call work
• Australian citizenship, permanent residency or full working rights
• Excellent customer service and communication skills plus good general written skills
• Ability to work in a team setting and on your own unsupervised
• Strong work ethic and initiative plus be punctual, reliable and honest
• Own phone and vehicle preferred

It may be an advantage, but not a requirement for the applicant to have: Work safely at heights certification TMV and Backflow endorsements Computer skills to enter required information and photos into job management software
