Plumber

Cottee Plumbing is seeking an experienced and qualified Plumber to join our professional team on a full-time basis, working 38 hours per week plus additional overtime. Duties & responsibilities: -Respond to and resolve plumbing emergency callouts -Diagnostics, problem-solving, and repair in maintenance pluming works -Liaise with customers and complete safety permit paperwork -Install pipework as per provided plans -Keep accurate records of material & time spent on jobs and description of works performed -Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems, repairing as needed Experience & attributes: -Current plumbing license with QBCC -White card -Manual Driver's license -Proficiency with hand and power tools for the plumbing trade, and your own tools -Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations & practices -Ability to read and follow blueprints & rough drawings -Effective communication and interpersonal skills -Ability to complete projects autonomously & unsupervised -Excellent problem-solving skills -Attention to detail and ability to multitask -Basic mathematics and measurement conversion skills Benefits: -Attractive hourly rates -Sign on bonus -Work vehicle and fuel card provided -Access to press tools and heavy machinery when required -Work iPad supplied About us: Established in 1978 and under new ownership since 2015, Cottee Plumbing are specialists in the installation, repair, and maintenance of pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, fire service systems, and more.
