Who Can Perform Plumbing and Drainage Work Legally?
The health and safety of the community is reliant on professional, licensed people undertaking plumbing and drainage work. In Queensland, legislation stipulates that any unlicensed persons (people who are not qualified to undertake plumbing and drainage work) cannot perform what is considered "regulated wor", stipulated in the Plumbing and Drainage Act 2019.

Amendments to Orientation of Collectors for Solar Heated Water Systems
MPAQ was advised of a change to AS/NZS3500.4: 2015 which was adopted on 1 May 2016. At this time it was discovered that the orientation of solar panels were now being required to face within 45 degrees of true north, rather than east or west as is often the practice. Not every house has that roof orientation. Not every household wants their solar hot water system facing north.
