Employer Essentials courses are designed to help plumbing and gas businesses operate within the national employment standards and protect employers and employees. These online courses cover the essentials of managing your business from complying with employment entitlements and requirements to handling inappropriate behaviour in the workplace.

These courses are eligible for funding under the CSQ Small Business Program.

  Within Australia, there are specific legislations to prevent bullying, harassment, and discrimination and this course will provide learners with information on: 

  • The differences between bullying, harassment, and discrimination.  
  • What avenues an employee has to make a claim if they feel they have been discriminated, harassed, or bullied.
  • What employers can do within their workplace.
